About the project
“Stairs are the heart of the house”. This is the vision we followed in creating the staircase of a 3-storey residential house in Sandefjord, southern Norway.

Wide, double-functionality, solid oak staircase, which fills up the entire staircase area. The wooden handrail of strict shapes with integrated LED lighting fits harmoniously into the modern unique staircase composition.
CENTREPIECE of the living space
This wide, double-functionality, solid oak staircase, which fills up the entire staircase area, became the centrepiece of the living space. We offered a modern design solution making it look that the steps of the first fight of stairs are superimposed on massive high platforms that extend throughout the entire width of the staircase, which the owners of the house stylishly decorated with interior elements. The wooden handrail of strict shapes with integrated LED lighting fits harmoniously into the modern unique staircase composition.

GRACEFULNESS of the view
The second-floor flight of stairs has been designed with centrally arranged stair strings, thus creating a sense of lightness of the massive and enclosed staircase. The minimalist design of the handrail on the second-floor flight of stairs also adds to the gracefulness of the view, with tempered glass units integrated into the treads and framed in elegant handrails. LED, main house lighting and mirror reflections give these solid oak stairs a glamorous touch and blend them perfectly into the interior of the house.
