We used this panelling as the cornerstone, matching the solid pine staircase to it. The stair treads are massive, echoing the smooth wood of the timber decking, whose natural beauty is brought out by the warm-toned LED lighting installed here.

NATURALNESS

This is how interior of the renovated farmhouse in Svencelė, Lithuania, can be described in one word. In this house, the space of the main room was enlarged by removing the ceiling between the first and second floor, covering it in greyish-brown wooden panelling. We used this panelling as the cornerstone, matching the solid pine staircase to it.

Graceful Ascent

The stair treads are massive, echoing the smooth wood of the timber decking, whose natural beauty is brought out by the warm-toned LED lighting installed here. The winding flight of stairs creates a sense of lightness of the staircase, while the sturdy metal handrail with smooth dense posts makes it graceful and modern. The landing on the second floor is open, we chose a thinner solid pine panel as its base, perfectly matching the walls in both shape and colour.
